Everything you need to know before sending or carrying a package.
How does payment work?
The amount paid by the sender is held in escrow on the platform. It's only released to the traveler once the recipient confirms delivery via QR code. SHARELUGG takes a 12% commission on the initial amount in all cases.
What happens if the recipient doesn't show up?
If the traveler and recipient don't meet within 24 hours, the traveler contacts the sender through the platform. The package is returned to the sender, or destroyed as a last resort with written agreement. The traveler receives 1/3 of the amount (excluding commission) for the transport carried out, the rest is refunded to the sender.
What is a verified user?
A user who has completed identity verification (KYC) with an ID document. The "Verified user" badge appears on their profile and listings. Verification is optional but recommended.
What items are prohibited?
Weapons, drugs, cash, undeclared perishable goods, items illegal in the destination country, and any valuable item without declared insurance. Medications must comply with the customs regulations of the destination country.
Can I refuse a package as a traveler?
Yes, at any time before handoff. The sender is fully refunded.
How is the price set?
The traveler freely sets their price per kilo. 1 kg is the minimum billing unit, even for a lighter package.
What happens if a traveler repeatedly fails to deliver a package?
A traveler who accepted a package and failed to deliver it (confirmed failure) on two occasions, across two different trips, is permanently banned from the platform.
